YOUNG KIDS: FOOD & SCIENCE 6/28-7/1: 10AM – 1PM (AGES 4 TO 7)

This series will explore the relationship between science and food. We will be making fun edible experiments like fizzy sherbet and edible slime, alongside lunch each day. Kids will learn knife skills and cooking techniques. We will introduce kids to new foods each day, and ways they will be able to help in the kitchen at home!  Each day we’ll make a delicious snack and lunch together.    All food is nut-free.  This is a series for all 4 dates June 28-July 1st.  Classes are drop-off.

Your kids safety is of our utmost priority and we’re trying to create as safe an environment as we can in our kitchens.

The COVID situation will be monitored, and our policy will be updated as needed.  We expect some restrictions to be in place, including but not limited to:

– Smaller class sizes
– Social distancing whenever possible
– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
– Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
– Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
– At least 45 minutes a day will be outside, including eating (weather dependent)

KIDS SUMMER CLASSES – CULINARY TECHNIQUES – 7/11 – 7/15 (ages 8 – 14)

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

This camp will teach kids culinary techniques like sauteeing, sauce making, pasta making, and some baking basics.  Structured like a mini culinary school, chefs will be in charge of their station and come away with a new understanding of how a kitchen runs.   Class will run July 11th – July 15th from 10 am to 3 pm daily.

Your kids safety is of our utmost priority and we’re trying to create as safe an environment as we can in our kitchens.

The COVID situation will be monitored, and our policy will be updated as needed.  We expect some restrictions to be in place, including but not limited to:

– Social distancing whenever possible
– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
– Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
– Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
– At least 2 hours a day will be outside, including eating (weather dependent)

KIDS SUMMER CLASSES – CULINARY COMPETITIONS – 7/18 – 7/22 (ages 8 – 14)

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

During this week’s series, kids will be able to flex their creative muscle in the kitchen by playing cooking games like Chopped, Iron Chef and Top Chef favorites.  At the end of the week, they will be able to make a dish of their choice that represents their new found creative ability in the kitchen.  Classes will run daily from July 18th-22nd. All classes are nut-free.   This class is for ages 8-14.

The COVID situation will be monitored, and our policy will be updated as needed.  We expect some restrictions to be in place, including but not limited to:

– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary

KIDS SUMMER CLASSES – BAKING TECHNIQUES – 7/25 – 7/29 (ages 8 – 14)

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Calling all bakers!  In this camp, kids will learn new baking skills and techniques every day.  While the focus is on baking, each day we will make lunch to go along with our baked goods.  This is a class that runs from July 25th – 29th.  All dishes are nut-free.  At the end of the week, the kids will make and decorate a mini cake to take home.

KIDS SUMMER CLASSES – CREATIVE AND COMPETITION BAKING – 8/1 – 8/5 (ages 8 – 14)

Cupcake Wars. Sweet Genius. Top Pastry Chef. American Baking Competition. Has your mini pastry chef always wanted to compete on these shows? Every day we will have a friendly baking competition along with making lunch each day. This is a class that runs from August 1st – 5th.  All dishes are nut-free.
