Overview:
Our newest winter break camp is a cookie lover's dream! Campers will spend the day mixing, rolling, shaping and baking four different holiday cookies from scratch: sparkling stained glass sugar cookies with melted-candy "windows," buttery jam thumbprints, fudgy chocolate crinkles rolled in powdered sugar, and buttery shortbread dipped in chocolate and covered in festive sprinkles. Along the way, chefs will teach the techniques behind great cookies, from creaming butter and sugar to rolling and cutting dough evenly to dipping and decorating with melted chocolate. Midday, campers will take a break from sweets to make a cozy winter lunch of grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup. Everyone heads home with a box of homemade holiday cookies, just in time for New Year's.
All camps are 100% nut-free.
All food is included. Camp programming is 10-3pm (with flex drop off at 9:45am and flex pickup at 3:15pm)
