FALL SERIES: TOUR AROUND NORTH AMERICA – (ages 8 – 14) (OCTOBER 5, 19, 26)

Overview:
Join us as each week we tour a new North American city or state and cook and taste their native foods. We'll make it Miami for some arepas, enjoy some jambalaya from New Orleans, and try our hand at breakfast tacos in Austin. Kids will learn how to work in the kitchen and come out of these weeks with stronger knife skills, cooking techniques, and some baking basics. Kids will prepare a meal each class and have dinner together. Class is drop off. All classes are nut-free. DATES: Wednesdays (3:45 - 5:30 pm), October 5th, 19th, 26th (no class on Columbus Day)
Here are some of the COVID precautions we’re taking in the space:
– Class sizes of 12 (max) with 2 instructors per space
– Social distancing whenever possible
– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
– Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
– Temperature checks before entering the space
– Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
– Eating outside (weather dependent)
