KIDS CLASSES

Welcome to our kids’ cooking classes! Our programming is hands-on cooking classes for all ages. Kids will work in a professional kitchen with professional chefs to learn how to cook and bake. We strive to not only have children learn techniques but develop a passion for creating food and inspiring flavors. We also offer private kids’ parties and events!

    It's a taco party!  We'll be making tacos al pastor from scratch (including the taco shells), grilled pineapple salsa, along with an roasted corn salad and churros with chocolate sauce for dessert!

    Get a taste of Italy with our pizza pinwheels, bolognese stuffed shells, and zeppoles.  Kids will have fun cutting up ingredients, kneading dough, and making a delicious lunch.  We'll enjoy a group lunch at the end of the class!  This class is drop-off.

    SPRING BREAK CAMP – AROUND THE WORLD (ISLAND HOPPING) – 4/14-4/18 (ages 8 – 14)

    Come join us for a tour of island countries and their cuisines.  Kids will learn culinary and baking basics as we create and taste foods from different countries.  Kids will cook for the majority of the day with breaks outside for snack and lunch.
    • Day 1: Mykonos/ Greece
    • Snack, watermelon salad with feta and mint
    • Lunch: meze- spanakopita, fried calamari with lemon and herbs, Chicken souvlaki with homemade pita and tzatziki
    • Dessert- Greek halva cake (semolina sweetened pudding)
    • Day 2: Thailand
    • Snack- Por Pia Tod (veggie spring rolls)with a garlic chili dipping sauce
    • Lunch- Pad Sapparod (Pineapple Fried Rice), pork and tofu pad Thai, som tam (papaya salad), roti
    • Dessert- Kanom tao daeng (red tortoise cake)
    • Day 3: Bali/ Indonesia
    • Snack: Assorted satay skewers
    • Lunch: Mie Goreng (stir fried noodle), gado-gado, dish of steamed vegetables, tofu or tempeh, egg, potatoes, Tum Ayam (Balinese steamed chicken cooked in banana leaves)
    • Dessert- banana fritters
    • Day 4: Capri/ Italy
    • Snack- Caprese salad
    • Lunch- ravioli alla caprese (ricotta, marjoram, parm stuffed ravioli) with a tomato sauce, arancini with ham and peas, shrimp capri, (sauteed with lots of lemon olive, garlic, served over linguini
    • Dessert- torta caprese
    • Day 5: Aruba/ The Caribbean
    • Snack-Pastechi (meat and veggie pastry)
    • Lunch-Sopi di Pampuna (pumpkin soup), fried plantains with beans and rice, Karni Stoba (Caribbean beef stew), arepas
    • Dessert-Quesillo (Arubian Flan)
