MOZZARELLA AND RICOTTA MAKING/WINE TASTING

Overview:
Learn how to pull your own fresh mozzarella and watch a demonstration of fresh ricotta! Professional cheesemaker Jeanine Dargis will guide you through the process from milk to curd to finished cheese.
You will also indulge in a cheese and wine tasting with helpful tips on how to taste and critique any cheese like a pro. Depart with any leftover mozzarella and curd along with recipes and recommended reading. Wines provided by Lauber Selections - a division of Fedway Associates
*Please note that this class is part hands-on, part demonstration. While we will provide a wine tasting, but you may also bring additional wine or beer to enjoy for the duration of the class. There will be a hearty snack (charcuterie, crostini, tomatoes with basil, etc.) provided at the end of the evening to accompany your freshly made cheeses!
