KIDS CLASSES

Welcome to our kids’ cooking classes! Our programming is hands-on cooking classes for all ages. Kids will work in a professional kitchen with professional chefs to learn how to cook and bake. We strive to not only have children learn techniques but develop a passion for creating food and inspiring flavors. We also offer private kids’ parties and events!

    Join us for this series where we'll be making food from around North America!   Kids will learn how to work in the kitchen and come out of these classes with stronger knife skills, cooking techniques, and some baking basics. Kids will prepare a meal (3 dishes per class) and get a taste of their food and take most of it home with them. Class is drop off. All classes are nut-free.  We can accommodate most food allergies/restrictions with advance notice.

    Step into the kitchen and cook like a pro! This culinary techniques sample day introduces young chefs to essential culinary techniques including sautéing, sauce-making, fresh pasta, and baking fundamentals. Designed like a mini culinary school, kids will work at their own chef station, learn proper kitchen flow, and gain real insight into how a professional kitchen operates.

    During this culinary competitions camp sampler, kids will be able to flex their creative muscle in the kitchen by playing cooking games and challenges.  We'll do one smaller canape competition in the morning for their snack and a larger taco competition in the afternoon for lunch.  They will work in groups for all competitions.  Previous cooking experience is helpful but not needed. We'll discuss all the culinary basics and safety before each challenge. Kids will cook for the majority of the day with breaks outside for snack and lunch.

    Calling all bakers!  In this immersive baking camp day, kids will build confidence in the kitchen as they learn new baking skills and techniques. Campers will incorporate their baked goods into their lunch daily or make a simple lunch to accompany their baked goods. The majority of the day is spent cooking and baking, balanced with outdoor breaks for snack and lunch.

    Cupcake Wars. Nailed It!. Top Pastry Chef. Is it Cake?. Has your mini pastry chef always wanted to compete on these shows? During this baking competitions sampler, we will have 2 friendly baking competitions along with making lunch.  Kids will cook and bake for the majority of the day with breaks outside for snack and lunch. Previous experience baking is helpful but not a requirement.  We'll be going over all baking basics before the competitions start.  Kids will work in groups.
