The meals are intended to be able to be eaten in several ways. It can be a feast for 3-5 people for a single night with everyone having lots of tastes of various dishes, or it can be broken out into 3-5 meals for the week with the ability to mix and match mains with sides.     This camp will teach kids culinary techniques like sauteeing, sauce making, pasta making, and some baking basics. Structured like a mini culinary school, chefs will be in charge of their station and come away with a new understanding of how a kitchen runs. Kids will make 4-5 dishes each day including snack and dessert.  Kids will cook for the majority of the day with breaks outside for snack and lunch. Class will run June 16th-20th from 10 am to 3 pm daily. We'll have flexible drop off and pickup to extend the day from 9:45-3:15pm if needed. All food is included. Camps are nut-free. **If you're signing up more than one child, please sign them up separately.     For those who have been to a classic chef competition before, this is a newer refined version that allows for more creativity on the chef's part. Each chef will have time to plan out a 3 course menu with a theme in mind. They'll be able to arrive up to 3 hours ahead of the event night of to start prep. Each course will have a time limit and you will be voting as the night progresses to see which chef wins the first place prize. For this special evening, each chef will also be tasked with pairing each of their dishes with a drink (beer, wine, or cocktail) and you'll be tasked with voting on the best drink pairing as well (drink pairing included in the price).     During this week’s series, kids will be able to flex their creative muscle in the kitchen by playing cooking games like Chopped, Iron Chef and Top Chef favorites. We'll do one smaller competition in the morning for their snack and a larger competition in the afternoon for lunch.  At the end of the week, they will be able to make a dish of their choice that represents their new found creative ability in the kitchen.  They will work in groups for all competitions. Kids will cook for the majority of the day with breaks outside for snack and lunch. Classes will run daily from June 23rd- June 27th. We'll have flexible drop off and pickup to extend the day from 9:45-3:15pm if needed. All food is included. Camps are nut-free. Previous cooking experience is helpful but not needed. We'll discuss all the culinary basics and safety before each challenge. **If you're signing up more than one child, please sign them up separately.     This series will explore the relationship between science and food. We will be making fun edible experiments like fizzy sherbet and edible slime, alongside lunch each day. Kids will learn proper knife skills (with child-friendly knives), proper baking technique, and have fun while doing it!  We will introduce kids to new foods each day, and ways they will be able to help in the kitchen at home! Kids will make snack, lunch and dessert each day. Classes will run daily from June 30th-July 3rd from 10-1pm. **No camp on July 4th** All classes are nut-free.
