  • Date:Wednesday, June 15, 2022 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Overview:

This series will explore the relationship between science and food. We will be making fun edible experiments like fizzy sherbet and edible slime, alongside lunch each day. Kids will learn knife skills and cooking techniques. We will introduce kids to new foods each day, and ways they will be able to help in the kitchen at home!  Each day we'll make a delicious snack and lunch together.    All food is nut-free.  This is a series for all 3 days June 15-17th.  Classes are drop-off. Your kids safety is of our utmost priority and we're trying to create as safe an environment as we can in our kitchens. The COVID situation will be monitored, and our policy will be updated as needed.  We expect some restrictions to be in place, including but not limited to:

- Smaller class sizes
- Social distancing whenever possible
- Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
- Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
- Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
- At least 45 minutes a day will be outside, including eating (weather dependent)
