Overview:
Join us for this series where we'll be exploring famous restaurants and famous chefs dishes. We'll be making food inspired by Katz' Deli, Peter Luger, Magnolia Bakery and more! Kids will learn how to work in the kitchen and come out of these classes with stronger knife skills, cooking techniques, and some baking basics. Some classes will be Kids will prepare a meal and either eat it outside or take their food home with them. Class is drop off.
DATES: Mondays (January 3, 10, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 28, March 7th) **No class January 17th & February 21st**
Here are some of the COVID precautions we’re taking in the space:
– Class sizes of 16 (max) with 2-3 instructors per space
– Social distancing whenever possible
– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
– Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
– Temperature checks before entering the space
– Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
– Eating outside (weather dependent), or taking food home
