PRESIDENTS DAY KIDS CLASS: PIES, PIES, & MORE PIES! (AGES 8-14)

Overview:
We'll be making 3 types of pies: Shepherd's pie, pumpkin pie with a marshmallow meringue, and apple hand pies. Kids will discuss different types of pie crust, learn some crimping styles, learn some knife skills and cut vegetables for the Shepherd's pie. We'll eat a meal, outside, together (weather dependent).
Recommended ages: 8-14
Here are some of the COVID precautions we’re taking in the space:
– Class sizes of 10 (max) with 2 instructors per space
– Social distancing whenever possible
– Masks worn indoors (can be provided) and gloves worn when necessary
– Frequent and regular handwashing with hand sanitizer prevalent in the space
– Temperature checks before entering the space
– Outside only drop off & pickup: Only students allowed inside
– Eating outside (weather dependent), or taking food home
