    Join us as each week we tour a new neighborhood in NYC while we cook and taste their foods. We'll make it to Little Italy for delicious tomato focaccia, enjoy some dumplings from Chinatown, and try our hand at making cheesy empanadas from Spanish Harlem.  Kids will learn how to work in the kitchen and come out of these weeks with knife skills (with child friendly knives) and baking basics. Kids will prepare a main dish and side dish each class and eat together. Class is drop off.

    Overview :

    For pasta connoisseurs and beginners alike, this is your opportunity to make pasta from scratch. We will create pasta of all shapes and sizes ranging from ribbon styles (pappardelle and fettuccine) to filled (ravioli). Learn to replicate these techniques at home as we mix the old fashioned way - by hand. Classes will be reduced capacity with all tables being 6' apart. All guests will be required to wear masks until ready for dining. If the weather permits, we will have tables outside for that portion of the evening. We are offering two options - buying 2 seats to join another party of 2 where you will cook together but dine separately with separate platters or option 2 which is buying out the entire table for up to 4 people. EVENT POLICIES

Please note all public classes are designed to be 4 groups of 4. Many of our classes also only allow even numbers due to the way our recipes are designed. Parties of less than 4 will join another group to work together to cook and enjoy the night but that’s part of why our events are so much fun – meeting other people! If you would like your own table, please make sure to select 4 tickets at checkout, that will ensure you have a table to yourself.

Our maximum group size for public classes is 8 guests. This means even if you sign up as 5 parties of 2, you would still be considered a large group of 10 which we can’t accommodate in a public class. If you have 9 or more people, please email us at [email protected] to learn more about our amazing private classes. Although we love having groups join us, it isn’t fair to the other guests in attendance.

For public dinners on our rooftop, we welcome larger parties of up to 12. We ask that parties of 13 or more email us at [email protected] for information on private events or adjusted pricing for larger groups. All groups need to sign up together in order to be seated together.

Please note that any dietary restrictions or allergy accommodations require significant notice and we ask that all guests reach out in advance of buying tickets. We buy ingredients in advance of classes, specifically for how many tickets are purchased, and thus need advanced notice (sometimes as much as 4-5 days) to potentially help modify a menu.

We cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies at CHEF COMPETITIONS. If you or a guest in your party have any allergies or dietary restrictions, we advise you to select a different event that will allow for accommodations. Attending a chef competition is at your own risk and our chefs are not able to ensure this is an allergy friendly event.
