FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our classes and events can be booked through our website at hudsontable.com.

Head over to the TICKETS section of the website, where you will be able to browse through our offerings and book today!

Unless otherwise noted on our website, our class and event pricing is per person. Some of our events are priced per couple, so please be sure to check upon checkout.

For Hands-On Classes, we recommend that our guests dress comfortably and wear closed footwear, as you will be standing and actively preparing your menu for a large portion of the class. Please avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing, as you may be operating near an open flame. We will provide aprons and all other necessary equipment!

Absolutely! At Hudson Table Hands-On Classes, our guests work in small groups and are assigned to a fully-loaded prep station and cooking area. Then, with the aid of our amazing Chef Instructors and staff, each group will prepare and cook the entire menu from start to finish!

We do not allocate specific recipes to specific groups, as we want each group to experience the full scope of the menu that they have signed up to cook. At the end of a Hands-On Class, each group will enjoy their own culinary creations as they dine family-style in our beautiful event space.

Please note that certain menus may have items that are prepped in advance and/or demoed by the Chef Instructor in order to ensure a smooth and enjoyable culinary experience – these menu items will be noted on our website in the Class Description/Menu.

Where appropriate and as noted on our website, certain Classes or Workshops may be centered around taking the final products home, as opposed to dining family-style at the end of the event (i.e. Pastry Classes/Cake Decorating, Donut Making, Bread Making, etc.).

Our public Hands-On Classes and Workshops have a maximum of 16 guests per class. Each class will be broken up into groups of 2, 3, 4, or 5 depending on the number of guests that have registered.

We limit party sizes for our public classes and events to a maximum of 8 guests. This is to ensure that a large party with more than 8 guests does not join a public class, as this would be unfair to our other guests of smaller group sizes.

We encourage parties of 9 or more guests to email us at [email protected] for additional information about our private events, which we know you will love! We pride ourselves on bringing groups of people together through food and cooking and we would love to work with you on crafting your ideal culinary experience.

Yes! All guests who have registered for the class will be emailed a digital copy of the class recipes within 24 hours.

We ask that you please email us well in advance at [email protected] so that we can be prepared for any changes to the guest list.

Hudson Table is a BYOB establishment. Our guests are welcome to bring beer or wine. Hard liqour is not permitted.

Our Hands-On Classes generally run for about 3 hours; about 2 hours of prep and cooking followed by 1 hour for our guests to enjoy their culinary creations at the end of the class, as they dine family-style. Timing is subject to change depending on the specific class. You’re free to take home your leftovers as well!

Timing for our other events depends on the format, but generally run for about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Although tipping is not required, your generosity is always greatly appreciated by our hardworking staff. Thank you for your consideration!

We pride ourselves on hosting a wide variety of classes that can accommodate everyone, regardless of allergies/dietary restrictions, but sometimes changing a menu item may affect the fluidity and group dynamics of the class or event.

Please notify us of any allergies you may have well in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you by modifying some of the ingredients (within reasonable expectations).

For Hands-On Classes, changes to the ingredients can be more easily accommodated if you are attending with a group of 4, as you will likely all be working at one table together as one group.

For Chef Competitions, we cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies. If you or a guest in your party have any allergies or dietary restrictions, attending a chef competition is at your own risk. Our chefs are not able to ensure this is an allergy friendly event.

We offer gift certificates in various amounts that can be applied to our classes and events. Please navigate to the GIFT CERTIFICATES section of our website for more info or to make a purchase.

Our regular classes are intended for adults 18+. We do make some exceptions to this rule for teens, for baking classes that are during the day, which would be noted in the class description,  otherwise our classes are meant for adults to have a fun night out. Please do not bring babies or young children.

We love having kids join us for our monthly kids programming, summer camps as well as private classes. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

Our purchased gift certificates do not expire!
